in other news...

i just spent a little over two hours redoing my cd collection, again. i finally gave in and let go of the madness that was keeping them in the order in which they were purchased. it was just getting too hard to find anything. so i went for something completely off the wall and went with a little alphabet soup. oh well, at least things are a lot easier to find now. everything is separated, now i just have to return them to my shelves in their new order. in the craziness i discovered that:

a) i own a disturbingly large number of country cds. we're talking bad, bad 90s country music.
b) i have entirely too many mariah carey cds, yes even for a gay guy, that haven't been listened to in years.
c) swv and michel'le what the hell? and kia thought westlife was a subject open for ridicule.


other key points of interest:

last night while out at the bars with nikki (more on that insanity later) i called kia a few times to play some songs for her over the phone. and she kept me company later. and by company i mean me listening as she mocked my taste in movies.

i got another "tipsy ring" from christopher. he was so cute hiccupping into the phone as he walked to his concert. hopefully he had a nice time. hopefully he's not letting his boy troubles bring him down too much.

and my mp3 player is ordered and will be here soon. sweet.
