there once was this little boy who ran out the door, before he could even get his shoes on his feet, to keep up with the girls who came to see if he could come out and play. one day they decided that they'd allow the other boys to play with them. teams were decided on. the girls said that he couldn't be with them because it was boys vs. girls. the boys wouldn't take him because they said he really wasn't a boy. he ran outside of the pop-up trailer they were playing in and began to cry. the girls came out after him and told him that he could be on their team.

from that day on the little boy knew he didn't belong on either team. that he was drifting alone somewhere in the middle.
