catching up

nikki1 keeps trying to get me to start up my own little page type thing on myspace. i don't really need one, i have a blog...oh wait that's right, i have a blog. i feel like it's been a year since i last posted, but i haven't done anything to warrant the time away. G and i met up for drinks and a movie. lucky number slevin. i'm not sure what kind of acid trip the critic was on when he compared it to pulp fiction and the usual suspects, but whatever. i didn't hate it, but it was terribly easy to predict. but josh hartnett ran around in a towel for a good bit of time, so there was that. my darling kia hooked me up with some fun cartoons, as she likes to call them. she and her mother enjoy watching them together. i spoke with keara on the phone last saturday. we discussed all that is degrassi. i explained to her my five year plan for my life.

keara: you should come to DC for my birthday.
me: i can't, i have to work.
keara: quit.
me: now you sound like kia.
keara: guess that doesn't fit in to your five year plan huh?

i told her i met nine days a few times, and that i actually got to hang out with them at a bar for a bit one time. for the first time ever, when telling that story, i didn't hear "who's nine days?" as a response.

i got some drunken "i love you, your my best friend" texts from nikki1. i told her she needed to watch calling me her best friend around G, 'cause G would slice her if she heard that.

i ordered a new hard drive for my computer since all of the music that i have has taken up most of my free space. thank you best buy gift cards.

i caught up with ms. b and we professed our love for so noTORIous, i really think that's my favorite show on tv right now. who knew donna martin could be so funny?

and tomorrow jules and i are supposed to see friends with money. i love me some catherine keener. i haven't heard back from her, since her initial invite, so we'll see if that pans out.

and now i have three netflix movies, and one hundred hours worth of shows saved on the old dvr to catch up on.
