so i was doing a little google search to find out why my local paper stopped running the boondocks, one of six cartons i try to keep up with, when i got a double dose of bad news. i assumed our paper was run by a racist hilljack who only finds humor in ziggy, but that wasn't the case. i guess the artist is on an extended leave and hasn't been doing any new material the past few months. that sucks, but what can you do? then i read a little further to find out that my favorite stip is about to bite the big one next. foxtrot is ending its weekly run and will only be in the sunday paper. damn the man. i mean i guess once a week is better than nothing at all, but this strip was funny, unlike so many of the other ones that try to shock you and then depress the hell out of you. hello for better or for worse. my sister never fully recovered from the time they offed the dog.
